The CrossGrid Workshop 2002 focuses on the developments of WP1, WP2, and WP3,
with participation of WP4 (Testbeds) and WP5 (Architecture) within the
EU Project IST-2001-32243
CrossGrid
Development of Grid Environment for Interactive Applications.
The date of the CrossGrid workshop, September 28-29, 2002,
has been selected
- soon after the deadline for the deliverables of M6, and
- immediately before the EuroPVMMPI/DAPSYS conference.

| The combination of the CrossGrid Workshop with the EuroPVMMPI/DAPSYS conference
offers several benefits. The program of EuroPVMMPI/DAPSYS contains many
grid computing related invited talks and contributed presentations,
which have been accumulated on the
EuroPVMMPI/DAPSYS Grid Computing Day on
Monday, September 30, 2002.
A Special Session on CrossGrid has been established, which
contains papers specifically in the context of the CrossGrid project.
Several other papers describing the work of CrossGrid partners are
distributed in other EuroPVMMPI/DAPSYS sessions.
Participants of the CrossGrid workshop qualify for the following benefits
at EuroPVMMPI/DAPSYS conference:
- Tutorials for FREE:
CrossGrid partners are invited to participate in either of the
two EuroPVMMPI/DAPSYS Tutorials on Sunday, September 29, 2002:
- Bill Gropp/Ewing Lusk: MPI on the Grid
- Barbara Chapman: Hybrid MPI+OpenMP Programming
Tutorial notes may be purchased on site.
- Grid Computing Day registration fee: EUR 80,00
The first day of EuroPVMMPI/DAPSYS is Grid Computing Day.
Registration for the Grid Computing Day includes
- the Welcome Reception on Sunday, September 29,
- admission to all sessions of EuroPVMMPI/DAPSYS on Monday, Sept. 30, and
- all lunches and coffee breaks on Monday, Sept. 30.
- Reduced registration fee: EUR 350,00
Receive the full conference package (including one book of proceedings)
for EuroPVMMPI/DAPSYS at the early registration fee of EUR 350,00.

- In case of bank transfer, send stamped bank form via fax to +43 732 2468 9496.
Bank transfer:
If you select bank transfer for your payment of the registration fee,
you MUST send a copy of the bank transfer form with the original stamp of
your bank via fax to +43 732 2468 9496. Your registration cannot be processed
as long as this document is missing.
In addition, please ensure that all expenses for the bank transfer are
being paid by yourself. The registration is only valid, if the full amount
arrives on the conference account.
